"Why be nostalgic about the past, when we can be nostalgic about the future"
Hi, I'm nomark Xd.
I’m a 25 year old artist and producer from Slovenia, and over the past five years, I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with various global artists and performing at numerous shows.
Fueled by a love for transforming nostalgia into something fresh and innovative, I like to believe my work has a unique charm and appeal :P.
I completed my studies at Academia Higher Education Colleges, earning a degree in media engineering with a specialization in audio production. This background gives me not only artistic skills but also the technical knowledge needed to ensure consistent, high-quality sound :D.
I also founded the community Aseben and hosted multiple digital and in-person events, with the latest editions in Ljubljana selling out. The digital events were especially impactful during the COVID lockdown and even received coverage in Croatian national news!
I've had the opportunity to work on a range of songs, especially within the electronic genre, helping some of them gain viral traction and reach millions of streams across all streaming platforms. I focus on bringing out the unique energy in each track, adding the right touches to make it memorable and impactful. My goal is always to create music that resonates with listeners and stands out in today’s landscape.

"Nebesa raves" are the shows I organize in Ljubljana, and they have quickly gained momentum. To date, I have hosted three events in partnership with "Dirty Skunks", one of Slovenia's leading alternative music promoters. These events have been highly successful, consistently filling 400 person venues to capacity. Notable performances have featured international artists, including Meat Computer from Canada, Kets4eki and HubiTheKid from Poland, Pröz from the UK and Akomeneželiš from Serbia. In the near future I plan on expanding these events outside of Slovenia as well.
On October 31, 2020, during the height of the Covid lockdown, I hosted my first Minecraft rave. Featuring a diverse lineup of local and international artists, it spotlighted pioneers of the emerging hyperpop scene, bringing together fans from all over the web.
Every year around Christmas, I host a special Minecraft rave. A tradition that's all about bringing people together during the holiday season. These events are filled with warmth and community, with hundreds of fans joining in to enjoy music from a big lineup of artists. It's a wholesome, joyful way to help people feel connected and less alone during this meaningful time of year. So far I have hosted 4.
These intimate community events showcase talented artists from around the world as they perform DJ mixes within the Aseben Discord server. Notably, these gatherings were the foundation for my experience in event hosting, serving as the stepping stone that led to organizing larger scale events.
When I’m not working on producing music for others, I focus on my own creative projects. I release music under the artist name Nomark, and currently, I am fortunate to have over 20,000 monthly listeners on Spotify. While I don't aim to create "mainstream" music, I embrace a more experimental approach that has, over time, cultivated a passionate and dedicated fanbase. Although I may not be widely recognized in Slovenia, I am proud to be among the most listened to artists from the country. My work is primarily in Slovenian, but I occasionally collaborate with English speaking artists, resulting in songs in English. I am deeply involved in every aspect of my music production, from creating the instrumentals to mixing and mastering. The process of building something from scratch and seeing it come to life fuels my inspiration and drives me to continue.
↓ Few of my music videos ↓
The song is very calm and "zen" so I recorded the video in Nara, Japan.
The music video was filmed during an unexpected snowfall in Slovenia in April 2024.
Due to COVID, I filmed the entire video in my room, incorporating plenty of nostalgic references to my childhood.
I'm always excited to meet like-minded people and collaborate on new projects! Feel free to send me an email, and I'll respond as soon as I can :D.
